Create additional profiles for SkyGlue auto events

After you follow the instruction here to create a profile without SkyGlue event and a profile with SkyGlue events, you can optionally create additional profiles to filter SkyGlue automatic events so that you can have a profile with only SkyGlue customized events. If you don’t need these automatic events at all, you also have the option to disable automatic event tracking or automatic pageview tracking.

1.Filter out automatic click events

Similar to steps mentioned above, you can add another filter for the events with event category on the “Click::” substring to filter out the click events. You can name the filter as “Filter SkyGlue automatic Click events”.

2. Filter out automatic pageview events

Similar to steps mentioned above, you can add another filter for the events with event category on the “Url::” substring to filter out the click events. You can name the filter as “Filter SkyGlue automatic Pageview events”.

With these filters, you can have your multiple Google Analytics profiles (views) as following:

  • Views without SkyGlue events (filter all SkyGlue event by eventLabel SgId::), you can keep it as your current profile name, e.g. “Main profile” or whatever your current profile name is.
  • 1 view with all events (No filter), you can name it as “Complete Activity Data with SkyGlue”
  • 1 view with automatic pageview events so you can see individual user page journey with timestamps (filter Click:: events), you can name it as “Activity Data without SkyGlue Automatic Click events”
  • 1 view with only customized event tracking (filter Click:: events and Url:: events), you can name it as “Activity Data with Customized SkyGlue events only”
